DS1307 – RTC Real-Time Clock Chip
The DS1307 counts seconds, minutes, hours, day of the month, month, and day of the week, with leap-year compensation valid up to the year 2100. It features 56 bytes of non-volatile RAM, a two-wire serial interface, and a programmable square-wave output. The chip includes an automatic power-fail detection and switch circuit, with power consumption below 500 nA in battery-backup mode. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and is available in 8-pin DIP and SOIC packages.
